Born in Manizales, Colombia, to a Croatian father, she grew up between two worlds that didn't compete but rather complemented each other, shaping a broad, deeply human perspective geared toward purposeful entrepreneurship. Her personal story is, in itself, a metaphor for the concept that inspires this year's edition: Heritage in Motion. For her, legacy is not a reference to the past, but a living force that transforms into concrete action. For the past four years, she has led a process that has given visibility to the Croatian community in Colombia through a consistent agenda of cultural, business, sports, and gastronomic initiatives. These initiatives have allowed a previously dispersed identity to now have a face, a voice, and an institutional presence. Under her leadership, not only have spaces for encounter been created, but also permanent communication structures and an official website that serves as a connection platform for the diaspora. \u201cThis work reached a historic milestone when, for the first time, Colombia had representation at the Meeting of the South American Croatian Diaspora, held in 2025 in Brazil, an achievement that consolidated the country's presence within the global map of Croatian communities abroad,\u201d says the Colombian woman of Croatian descent.<\/div>\n
